Show ; Pn . J Mr. and Mrs. Orville W. Kemper Sherri Johnson, Orville Kemper Married in Recent Rites Sherri Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson and Orville W. Kemper, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville W. Kemper, Sr., were married in a formal double ring ceremony on May 15. The ceremony was held at the Community Baptist Church with Reverend Emil Balla officiating. The bride was attired in a semi-cathedral length chantil-ly chantil-ly lace gown, with a manderin neckline and Victorian sleeves. The veil was a chantilly and pearl petaled spray to hold a two-tiered elbow veil with one tier edged in chantilly lace. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations and babybreath with burgandy ribbon. The groom wore a tuxedo with a white jacket and black slacks. A burgandy carnation with babybreath served as his boutteniere. Tony Reagan served as his Best Man. Attending the bride was Barbara Schraft as her Matron of Honor. She wore a long gown of acetate taffeta under sheer chiffon with sheer ruffles at the neckline and sleeves. It was accented with burgandy ribbon. She wore a wide-brimmed hat of braided polypropylene accented with burgandy ribbon. She carried a bouquet of burgandy carnations carna-tions and babybreath with a background of burgandy ribbons. rib-bons. The bridal party consisted of two bridesmaids, Cindy Johnson, John-son, cousin of the bride, and Malani King. Their attire was the same1 as the Matron of Honor except they had pink ribbon on their dresses and hats. They carried stemmed burgandy carnations with burgandy bur-gandy streamers. - Attending the brides book was Jewelene Rundle, cousin of the bride. She wore a long pink dress with pink ribbon. She had a wrist corsage of burgandy ribbon, babybreath, and pearls. Serving as the groomsmen were Dirk Johnson, brother of the bride, and Albian Lawrence. Law-rence. The two ushers were Don Owens, brother-in-law of the groom, and Rob Johnson, cousin of the bride. The mother of the bride wore a long gown of light green. The mother of the groom wore a long gown of blue with a bodice of white with long white sleeves. Music was provided by Marilyn Stout on the organ and Lori Merrill sang "Walk Hand in Hand" and "The Lord's Prayer," accompanied by Mrs. Stout on the organ. The reception was held in the basement of the Greenwell Restaurant. Pink candles with burgandy bows and leaves -were on all the tables and the hall was decorated with pink and burgandy crepe paper and wedding bells. A dance followed the reception. The music was provided by "D. J. and The Day's End." D. J. is the bride's brother. The bouquet and candle arrangements were done by Carlin Buckingham, and the cake was made by Darlene Nelson. The couple spent their honeymoon in the Four Corners, Cor-ners, the Grand Canyon, and Juarez, Mexico.
