Show I "l I Planner hired to work in Grand County I J A planning and zoning expert has . been hired by the SE Utah Association of I Governments .for placement in Grand j County, according to Bill Dinchart, AOG I director. He is Fred Turner, 32, who has been . employed as a county planner in Boise, Idaho. He is expected to begin work for the AOG late this month, with major I responsibility for projects in Moab City I and Grand County. As with other AOG personnel, . Turner will be responsible to the AOG i i board of directors through Dinehart, who will direct his work and consult with local I officials on projects. Two such projects in I the immediate future could be organiza- ' tion of special service districts for water ! and for garbage disposal. Turner holds a bachelor of arts j degree from Weber State University and I has been working in the planning and I zoning field for a number of years. He was chosen for the Grand County position j after interview of a number of applicants i by the Grand County Commission. j i |
