A police officer responded to call reporting a theft at about V20 p.m. On arriving at the Silver Dollar he found Larry D. Wood a Costa Mesa. Jones and Bailey were charged with theft and receiving stolen goods; Weaver Weav-er and MacLochlan were charged with theft. Each was released on $1,000 bond. After these arrests were originally made Sept. 14, Tom Badger, who had been in the Silver Dollar during the incident, came out and threw rocks at customers and vehicles vehi-cles at the Maverick, and kicked in the driver's door of , Sgt. Laey's patrol car. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and destruction des-truction of property. On Sept. 17 it was reported that $8 had been stolen from the desk at the LDS Seminary office. Also the morning of Sept. 17 Pearl Taylor reported an I incident of vandalism on her property where half the vines in a grape arbor had been cut some days before. There was extensive damage to the grape arbor. There was an incident of vandalism Sept. 20 at about 10:15 p.m. A Chevrolet pickup belonging to Richard Holder ' was parked near Plateau 79 station. It was broken into by use of a clothes hangar and a calculator and CB radio valued at $250 total were taken. Fingerprints were taken from the vehicle, and investigation i continues. |
