Show Monday is Deadline For Candidate Filing The May 11 deadline for filing for political office is cnly two weekdays away. Currently, there is a candidate can-didate for every office up fer election, and races in seme. A number cf prospective candidates have made known their intention cf filing prior to the Monday deadline, but have net done so yet. In past election years, it has been typical to have a beginning rush in filing;, a lull, and more activity the last few days before the filing fil-ing deadline. Grand District Board of Ed-Grand Ed-Grand District oBard of Education Ed-ucation will also be calling candidates soon, but the filing fil-ing deadline for those positions po-sitions does not come until later in the summer. |
