Show Capitol Reef Visitor Season Now Underway Superintendent W. Franklin Wallace of Capitol Reef National Park announced this week that 13,493 visitors were recorded at Capitol Reef for the first two months of the year. This compared with 5,289 visitors for the corresponding corres-ponding period last year. Mr. Wallace noted that Capitol Reef National Park is open all year. Limited camping facilities will be available through March. All facilities will be open on April 1. The Visitor Center will be open on a seven day week basis from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. beginning May 1. |
