Show PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing has been scheduled for 8 p.m. on August 3, 1976 to consider a proposed ordinance on licensing licens-ing and fees charged to transient merchants. For the purpose of this article, a transient merchant Is hereby defined to be any person or agent, servant or employee or any person who shall exhibit, sell or offer for sale, at wholesale or retail any goods, wares, merchandise or food stuffs in or from any hotel, rooming house, dwelling house, boarding house, store, storeroom, stall, tent, building, build-ing, structure, stand, railroad car, motor vehicle or other place in the city, and who shall not occupy such place for the purpose of conducting a permanent business therein.
