Show Little Buckaroo Rodeo Results Listed The annual 4-H Little Buckaroo Rodeo was held July 5 and 6, with youngsters pitting their skills against the wills of calves, ponys and other livestock, providing lively live-ly entertainment for the crowds in attendance. Winning belt buckles in bareback riding the first night were Jerry White, Robert Manuetella and Pat Hartman. Calf riding winners Monday were Matt Cresrwell, Darla Thayn and Mike Rodel. The second night winners in bareback were Alan Surges, Brian Deeter and Bobby Beeman. Tuesday night calf riding winners were Yancy Shupe,. Shauna Gilmore and Bobby Beemen. Bobby Beeman Bee-man also won the calf roping contest. Goat tail tying winners were Ray McCourt, Yvette Colcla-sure Colcla-sure and Lene Simmons. The open end barrel contests were won by Angie Boyd, Libby Meador and Del Simmons. Libby Meador was Little Buckaroo Rodeo Queen, an honor won by selling the most tickets. First attendant was Mary Winfield, and second attendant was Shauna Gil-more. Gil-more. Elanor Leystra was winner of the gate prize, a bundle of beef. Stock contractor for the event was Burnice Hunsaker. Judges were George White and Max Wilcox. The Grand County 4-H organization extends thanks to Dee Tranter and Jerry Hytry for doing the Chariot Race on Monday evening. Butcher Block and Ken Silliman are also both thanked for generous donations to the club. |
