In total this month, we had 229 extended visitor contacts. Interpretive activities this month consisted of Saturday Satur-day and Sunday afternoon guided trail walks, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening programs. pro-grams. Probable date for beginning Interpretive activities ac-tivities again will be the March 16th opening of the campground. . We would like to extend our many thanks to those Canyonlands National Park personnel who were involved in our Interpretive Interpre-tive efforts. We feel the evening programs and guided walks were very successful, and we received re-ceived many favorable comments from our Park visitors to that effect. We look forward to an even more ambitious Interpretive Interpre-tive effort next summer. |
