Show Enforcement Agenchs Combine In Arrest of Four Persons Combined d'fnrls of t ho . Moab City Police Department, Depart-ment, (lie Grand Junction Police Department, and tho Mesa County SheriffVi Department resulted in the arrest, last week of four . persons . involved In nar--colics, and a tiearch warrant war-rant -, to he used later in Grand Junction, Colorado. The arrests and the obtaining ob-taining of the search war- ' rant were made possible through the efforts of n young Moab man who was put to work by the Grand Junction Department of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. According to Moab City Police Chief, Mel Dallon, Grand Junction is one of the main sources of supply sup-ply of narcotics for the Moab area, thus the interest inter-est in working with Mesa County officials. Chief Dallon also remarked thai he had received a letter of thanks from the Mesa County Sheriff, Ray Reess. and the Grand Junction Police Chief, Karl Johnson, John-son, for the work that wan done to help control the drug traffic between the two towns. Dalton also wished to publicly thank Sgt. Lawrence Law-rence Rowley and Doug Rohn, .".long with the Moab Mo-ab young man for the time and information provided pro-vided in helping to make the Colorado arrests. |
