Show Business Licenses in Jeopardy Due to Non-Zone Conformity A report on sanitation and inspection problems was given by Cecil Shaffer, Grand County Building Inspector, In-spector, at the regular Monday meeting of the Grand County Commission, and prompted a discussion which may result in the revocation of several business busi-ness licenses. Commissioner Commission-er Fred IJeyeler recommended recom-mended that any business with a county business license, li-cense, who does not comply com-ply to County zoning ordinances, or-dinances, should have their license revoked. County Attorney Harry Snow indicated in-dicated that a hearing should be held before the Commission prior to the revocation of any license. Further action was tabled until the Monday, July 27 meeting. In other County Commission Com-mission business, Kay Hawks, manager of I. W. Allen Hospital discussed carpet bids with members of the Commission and indicated in-dicated that Educator Supply Sup-ply Lloyd Holyoak, agent, had received the bid. Other hospital business included in-cluded the appointment approval ap-proval to the medical staff of Dr. Walter Edwin Stil-son, Stil-son, who is associated with Jay P. Munsey, M.D. During the meeting, permission per-mission was given to Robert Rob-ert Dalton, representing the LDS Church wards sponsoring the Pioneer Day celebration activities, to purchase trophies to award at the July 24 parade. |
