Proceeds from sales of the art work were , recently donated to the Moab Women's Literary club, and .matched by the club for deposit to the civic-center civic-center project. Some of -Mrs. Corbin's work is now on' display at the Desert Inn, in Moaib. Desert Wood and Cactus Add Up to Interesting Hobby A", display of centerpieces fabricated from desert, wood and cactus are now on exhibit ex-hibit at the Desert Inn. The artistic, arrangements were made by Mrs. J.' W. Corbin, who pursues the interesting hobby during periodic visits to their winter home at Carefree, Care-free, Arizona. The popular appeal of these decorated pieces among cluibs and organizations has kept Mrs. Corbin busy supplying sup-plying requests. -As she sells the centerpieces,' she donates the proceeds to - the Moab .Women's Literary Club. In appreciation, the women's organization at their last meeting voted to match her latest contribution of $25, and, donate the. total $50 to the Moab Civic Center Fund savings account. . An escrow fund has been ' established for , the proposed civic center; to date nearly 1 $3,358 is on deposit in local 1 banks as a cornerstone fund 1 toward the building, planne" I at the new city park.
