Show Moab Will Host Annual AIJV1E Symposium Moab will host the annual an-nual ALME Symposium a-gain a-gain this year, it was announced an-nounced this week by Chair man Wiillard) Johnson. The decision to meet for the second successive year in Moab was made after a Wyoming city declined the invitation, he said. The convention, formerly known as the Uranium Sym posium, originated in Moab, and! for the first several years was held in Moab each year. As the convention expanded ex-panded interests it was renamed re-named the AIME Symposium, Sympos-ium, and other cities with mining affiliations took turns hosting tho group. Last year over 500 guests registered for tho various meetings and traditional social events connected with the convention. Mr. Johnson said it was anticipated an equal number would arrive this year. It is hoped a May date will be officially set. |
