Show Library Board Gets Fond Raising Drive Underway The Grand County Library Lib-rary Board this week began be-gan a fund-raising drive to add $30,000 to the $100, 000 county and federal funds set aside for a new library building. Of the $30,000, half will be obtained on a matching basis from federal funds, leaving only $15,000 to be raised locally. The $130,000 is designated desig-nated "for the library building, buil-ding, furniture, fixtures and sicme books in addition addi-tion to the normal county allotment, obtained thru a set mill levy. $100 of the necessary fund's have already been set aside through a county federal government matching match-ing fund basis. The proposed library building wull be located on library property on the Southeast corner of First and Center Street. The lot is 65x228 feet; the library biulding will be 5,000 sq. feet. Plans have been drawn by architect Ralph Edwards, Ed-wards, A.I.A., and building build-ing bids are scheduled for release in late August. Contributions from residents resi-dents will be appreciated to apply on the $15,000 needed to complete the building. Contributors may contact J. W.
