San Juan County Recorder, Record-er, Mrs. Arvilla Warren, re. jports 4,359 claims filed in an Juan County in 1966, compared with 80,016 located lo-cated and recorded claims iin the peak boom year of the last decade, 1954. In 1965 Mrs. Warren recorded re-corded 1,568 claims, compared com-pared with 135 recorded in jGrandl County. , The Grand County Recorders Re-corders offices report a imarked slowdown of recording re-cording requests during the past two weeks, due assum ,edly to the winter weather jconditions. To date this iyear 75 claims have been Recorded in the Moab offices. |
