Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith returned Saturday after a two weeks' vacation in the north where they visited with Elder Melvin E. Tietjen who is serving on a mission at Butte, Mont., and also Glacier national park, Mont, and Lake Louise in Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Smernoff and Dr. and Mrs. M. Karl Hofmann reported of his arrival in Karlsruhe, Germany, where he spent three days with tile mission president and'attend-i and'attend-i ed a conference after which he , went to N'uerenberg, his present J field of labor.
