Show BJ).A.A FLASHES by Jim Abplanalp SECOND HALF PLAY OPENS Second half play in the fast Utah Industrial Baseball league opened last night, with the local BDAA nine playing hast to Brigham City's Peaches. Bingham won 7 and lost 8 in first half play and with added experience, should make the race interesting right down to the finals. Helper, last year's champs, tied with American Fork for first half honors, and a play-off game will determine first half winner. SOFTBALL SLANTS The BDAA softball league I will resume regular play Monday, Mon-day, July 10, and the games will be played just as they are sched-I sched-I uled. This week's games were not played because of the July holidays, and will be moved I back to the end of the regular ; schedule. Princess theatre remained re-mained undefeated and have sole ' possession of first place with 9 wins and no losses. Huntsman's j Chevrolet is still in second, with , the Eagles, A & M, Lark and 1 Gemmell club closely bunched. Another fine game with an outside team is being lined up for the near future. o |
