Show i ARMY RESERVE I CORPS TO BE STARTED HERE The Army Organized Reserve Corps will have a representative at the City Hall court room in Bingham Canyon on Monday evening, ev-ening, June 5 at 7 p.m. to discuss the Army Reserve program with all interested persons. An Army Reserve company will b started right away lure in Bingham. Men between the ages of seventeen and thirty-five, seventeen included, are eligible to join. Those interested should contact T. Earl Kelly at the First Security Bank or Chief of Police Po-lice Frank Callen. This reserve company will drill for two hours in the evening even-ing an average of two times per month, and each participant will be paid one day's pay for each drill. The pay rates are from $2.25 on up, depending on the man's1 rank. The company will train men to be the nucleus of a much larger organization in case of an emergency. There is ample opportunity for all men to earn promotions. Veterans are eligible elig-ible to enlist in their old or equivalent equiv-alent grade. Credit for retirement retire-ment pay may be earned through this program. |
