THE POET'S CORNER by Dana S. Benson MORNINGS AT OUR HOUSE . He rubs his eyes and jumps out of bed, , And says, "Come on you sleepy head." While he sings in his shower, I climb out like a wilted flower. Half awake I put on my clothes, While he steps out fresh as a rose. Then we sit down to our morning: meal, And I feel just like a heel. For there he is as handsome as can be In his white shirt looking charmingly, But poor mewhat a sight! Not even lipstick can make me look right. But he eats behind the morning news, And never looks up while he chews. It really doesn't matter what I wear, Just as long as the BULLETIN is there. I. i I ' ' i I !
