Show SIFTING COMMITTEE NAMED BY HOUSE The House of Representatives went through eleven bills and- quickly passed them yesterday. Something like nineteen nine-teen committee reports were received from the various committees, and a large calendar was before the House when it opened at 10 o'clock this morning. morn-ing. Speaker Joseph appointed ap-pointed a' sifting committee, whose duty it shall be to go through the various bills now pending, to see that the more important ones are pushed through the House at once.
