The fire was discovered by L. D. Crittenden, manager of the auto supply sup-ply company, who with his family lived In the second story of the new building. build-ing. A personal loss of 13000 worth of uninsured un-insured furniture was suffered by Manager Crittenden. The stock of the Northwestern Auto Supply company was Insured for about W per cent of Its value. The building, valued at (M.000, Was but partially insured. The buildings of the McCarty Hide Company, the Mlltenberger Produce company and the Salt Lake Hardware company, as well as other structures in the wholesale district, were seriously threatened for two hours. It was not until late yesterday that all danger was removed. |
