Churches of the United Htatee made a net gain of 7,000 new members In 1120. according accord-ing to a census compiled by the Christian Chris-tian Herald. Dr. H. K. Carroll said this was a marked Increase over 11. when the aggregate number of members mem-bers gained waa lose than 44,000. . Dr. Carroll said In 11 decreases were shown In most of tho churches. He compared figures of some larger groups showing that in 11 the Methodist Meth-odist group lost 7.H, the Preebyter-ian Preebyter-ian group lost 4f,4( and ths Baptist group lost 11. 101.
