Show SENATE ACTS ON DIRECT PRIMARY OLTMPIA. Wash., March 2. Two direct primary bills, one requiring that a candidate must be a member of two years' standing of the party with which he Is registered and affiliated, and the second requiring voters when registering to Indicate tneir party affiliations, af-filiations, were passed by the state senate Tuesday, both go to the house. The second bill provides that in case a voter declines to Indicate his political faith when registering he cannot participate par-ticipate in a primary election except as an Independent. |
