Show DRIVERS' TEST DATASTUDIED Approval of material to be Included In-cluded In a drivers' manual was being considered at a meeting of a subcommittee of the Utah Traffic Safety coundl and members of the state tax commislson at the capitol Thursday. The manual, to be distributed among drivers, gives Instructions for safa driving. Material for the booklet will be sent to the printers print-ers next week, Herbert Simpson, executive secretary of the council, said. , D. A. Skeen, chairman, and John B. Matheson and Mrs. L. K. Nicholson, Nichol-son, committee members, attended the meeting, along with Julian Bamberger, president of the safety council. Harry DeSllva. traffic expert ex-pert from Yale university and author of most of the material being Included in the manual, also attended the meeting. The examiners whose Job It will be to determine if Utahns can drive well enough to receive driver's driv-er's licenses were themselves being examined Thursday. National Safety coundl representatives repre-sentatives subjected the examiners, who will work under Jurisdiction of the state tax commission, to rigid tests in cars to see if they are sufficiently familiar with regulations regu-lations to carry out their Job. The tax commission hopes to take aver the examination of Utah drivers by next Monday. The highway high-way patrol has been in charge of this work. James S. Stannard Baker and G. V.
