Show Zoning Change Appeals Heard Concluding a hearing which lasted last-ed more than an hour and a half. Salt Lake City commissioners on Thursday took under advisement the plea of D. K. Rawlings, 1651 Wasatch circle, and others asking that a B-3 zoning classification affecting an area near Thirteenth South and Seventeenth East streets be changed to class A zoning. The . latter classification would prohibit all forms of business. , After taking the matter vnder advisement, commissioners indicated indi-cated they will refer it back to the city planning and zoning commission commis-sion for reconsideration. Mr. Rawllngs' petition was supported sup-ported by W. H. Sweet, 1332 Harvard Har-vard avenue; Dr. H. L. Marshall, 1315 Seventeenth East street; John D. Rice, 1779 Michigan avenue, and others. Opposing the chsnge In zoning which would reserve the area exclusively ex-clusively for residential purposes were Alan G. Wood. 1332 Harrison avenue; Paul Q. Calllster, 1340 Princeton avenue; Ned Warnock, Holladay, and others. |
