Show PATROLMAN NABS 4 SUSPECTS IH DOYNTOYII TRUCKROBBERY . Five men were held in jail Thursday s police lnvestigsted a series of burglaries and other thefts. Carrol Varner, 29;, Ronald Beatty. S2; oy Brown, 4S. and Vern Turrbow. 30, were arrested at Second South and First West streets Wednesday by Radio Patrolman Earl Worlton, who rr ported he saw on of the men steal three sacks of cement from parked truck. A police report said a call reporting report-ing two men were prowling automobiles auto-mobiles in front of ths club had bean received, but that ths second suspect fled before police arrived. Burnt matches were found In the shop and the candy wrappers were in a field near by. Mr. Golson said a thief pried the bsck of his writing desk, stealing 33.23, a pair of field glasses and several miscellaneous old coins. Local police Thursday were warned to be on the lookout for a 23-year-old bandit suspect believed to have fled west after robbing a Glenwood Springs, Colo, store early Wednesday. Sheriff Roy Terrell of Garfield county, Colo, Informed Salt Lake City and county authorities the suspect, sus-pect, Ralph W. Green, was driving a 1833 model blue coupe.
