Show Miss Laura Robison Inspires Many Fetes Before Marriage A number of parties are being planned in honor of Miss Laura Robison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. K. Robison of the Midley apartments, whose marriage to L. A. Cutler will be an event of December De-cember 14. Mrs. Leonard V. Mauss will entertain Friday with a miscellaneous shower at her home on Fifth avenue. Miss Gwen Russell and Mrs. Joe' David will entertain Saturday with a luncheon for the bride-elect. The affair will be given at the Russell home. 1120 Yale avenue. Miss Helen Silver will entertain Sunday morning with a breakfast and bridge at Keeley's tea room for Miss Robison. who. with Mr. Cutler, will be honored Sunday evening, when Mr. and Mrs. Dean Green are hosts at their home, 1106 Harvard avenue. Mrs. Douglas I. Graham, Miss Dorothy Green and Miss Mane Bringhurst will give a miscellaneous miscellane-ous shower Monday at the Bringhurst Bring-hurst home on First avenue honoring honor-ing Miss Robison. who will be complimented com-plimented Tuesday evening, when Miss Miriam Martin. Miss Kay Rouche and Miss Louise Wormdahl will entertain at Miss Martin's home, 943 Princeton avenue. Miss Luella Cutler and Miss Irma Cutler will entertain with a dinner party at the Cutler home on Thirteenth Thir-teenth East street on December 9. and on December 10 the popular bride-elect will be honored at a party to be given by Mrs. I. Max Weaver at her home on Second avenue. ave-nue. On Saturday. December 11, Mrs. Philip Woodland and Miss Alice Coombs will be hostesses at a luncheon and theater party. For a seasonable relish put three cups of cranberries through a food chopper. Follow these with one orange which has been cut In half and freed of seeds. (The rind and pulp are used, however.) Add one and a half cups of sugar and let the combination chill for several hours. Half a cup of crushed pineapple may be added. |
