Show Dean and Wife Give 'At Home' Members and friends of St. Mark's cathedral parish were entertained Monday evening when Dean and Mrs. Franklin L. Gibson received at a delignttui "at home" at the new deanery. S27 East First South street. A profusion of colorfvl fall flowers decorated the living rooms, where the guests wer received. A handsome lac cloth covered the serving table, which was centered cen-tered with a basket of varicolored petunias. Princess tapers in shades of rose and orchid were In silver candelabra at each end of the table. Presiding in the dining room were Mrs. E. A. Rogers. Mrs. Charles A. Faus. Mrs. L. P. Bowen and Miss Allison Coulter of Los Angelea. who has been visiting at the Gibson home. They were assisted by a group of members of St. Margaret's guild. Including Mrs. Heaton Randall. Mra. E. L. Coppock, Mrs. Charles N. Peake. Mrs. E. R. Brink and Mrs. F. N. Wardwell. Dean and Mrs. Gibson entertained Sunday evening with a Spanish dinner In honor of Miss Coulter, who left Tueaday for her home in Los Angeles. Gay autumn flowera decorated the table and 14 guests were in attendance. |
