Show FEED THE DEER 'GAINS MOMEMTUM 'Another load of hay, donated by employees of the industrial Steel Co. of Salt Lake City was i received last Saturday for distribution dis-tribution at the Bingham area 1 feeding grounds. This makes the third load given by this firm to the Bingham area. On Thursday F. J. Quinn do- , nated the use of his truck to local lo-cal sportsmen who hauled in 45 bales of hay which was stored in Utah Copper shops for future use. Local sportsmen are trying to ration hay to six pounds per deer per day. Through the courtesy cour-tesy of H. L. Garrity, Kennecott Copper Corp. have opened the Dry Fork road up to the picnic flat to allow deer to come down. Hay was distributed all along the route. Sportsmen say that the number of deer are increasing increas-ing daily at the feeding grounds. Hay distributed Thursday was given to the Bingham area by the Salt Lake County Fish and Game Association. Up to Thursday, employees of U S. Mines have donated a substantial sub-stantial amount of money to feed deer and collections are still coming in to enable them to purchase pur-chase several tons of hay in the deer feeding program, according to John W. Holmes. Biggest single donation this week to the deer feeding campaign cam-paign has been $134 from the Combined Metals employees at Lark. Clyde Stevenson brought , in the check, representing the donations. |
