SCHOOLS PREPARED FOR FAUOPENING PRICE Preparatory to the opening open-ing of the 1937-38 term on September Septem-ber S, Improvements and repairs are being made on 12 school buildings in the Carbon district. Superintendent Superintend-ent G. J. Reeves said Thursday. The major project is at the Price Central school, where a new heating heat-ing system is being installed and new flooring in five classrooms on the ground floor is being laid. Other schools being renovated are Carbon high. Harding junior high In Price, Helper Central, Wattis, Gordon Creek, Royal. Wellington, Columbia. Standardville, Latuda and Rains. Mr. Reeves reported that the annual an-nual district teachers' -Institute will be held in the high school building here September 18. The annual convention con-vention of the Carbon County Teachers' association will be held on the same date.
