Show Mothers Accompany Children To Learn First Aid Methods Second Week's Work Completed in Course , Sponsored by Telegram, Kiwanis ' ' ' . . Eager to learn first aid, four mothers practiced it with their . children Saturday at The Telegram-Kiwanis club first aid class at I Fairmount park. The mothers are Mrs. Eleanor Kinder, Mrs. Juanita Severe, Mrs. Marion Halstead and Mrs. Pearl Mitchell. Good for Youngsters? Good for Parents, Too "At each class meeting," said Mr. Dee, "we review everything we have learned before. In this way. the members don't get a Chance to forget for-get what they've learned." Mr. Dee estimates' that 750 children chil-dren attend the four classes. - They attend the class twice each1 week, said T. W. Dee, director of the course. Visiting the class st Fairmount park Saturday was H. E. Schraven, a member ot the Kiwanis club committee com-mittee for boys' and girls' work. - Two of the four weeks' training in the course have been completed, according to Mr. Dee. The four classes at the Ensign playground, Jackson playground, Fairmount park and Liberty park have completed com-pleted the treatment of shock, bleeding and wcunde. "The girls hold their own with the boys, too," continued Mr. Dee. There will be no classes at all next week, Mr. Dee announced, because be-cause of the Covered Wagon Days celebration. The week beginning July 26 tbe classes will meet again at their regular times. They will begin work on treatment of burns and artificial respiration.
