Show Church Group Tells Plan For Seminar How Protestant women of Salt Lake City can join In action ac-tion for a world community shaped according to Christian ideals will be under discussion Wednesday when members of the United Council of Church Women begin 'a two-day seminar semi-nar at Centenary Methodist church, 1740-5th East. Leaders to Speak Scheduled to speak in Salt Lake are Mrs. Emery Ross, New Tork City, returned missionary mis-sionary from the Belgian Congo; Con-go; Mrs. J. Quinter Miller, Crestwood, N. T., vice president. United Council, and Mrs. Oiian Dheln, national board member from Wisconsin. Mrs. Rice stated that the seminar program wifl be highlighted high-lighted with panel and group discussions of local aod national ' legislation, creation of a Christian Chris-tian public opinion and development develop-ment of techniques for Christian Chris-tian leadership in the church. Mrs. W. L. Jarvis Jr., Salt Lake council vice president, has been working with Mrs. Rice in making arrangements for the seminar. |
