First principal service in the Dedication week observance will be Sunday at 11 am. at the ' church when the new building will be dedicated. Dr. Robert D. Steele, president, Westminster college, will give the dedication address, announced Rev, Donald G. Christiansen, pastor. Earlier In the day Sunday at 0:30 a.m. the Sunday school will hold Its first classes In the new building. A choir cantata, "The Holy .City," will be presented Sunday at 7:30 p.m. by a 44-voice choir under the direction of Fred M. Hammlll. long dedication observance are Rev. Ward McCabe, assistant emeritus, Westminster college, speaking Tuesday at 7:3u p.m.; Rev. W. Malcom Gwaltncy, pastor, pas-tor, First Presbyterian church, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.; Dr. H. W. Reherd, president emeritus, emeri-tus, Westminster college, and Dr. William Crosby Ross, Presbyterian Pres-byterian field representative, speakers Thursday at 7:30 p.m. At the banquet Friday at 8:30 p.m.. Dr. J. S. Boughton, dean, Westminster college, will speak. Closing services of the week will be held Oct. 9 with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., communion service at 11 a.m. with Dr. H. A. Rodgers, Westminster college, speaker, and a youth meeting at 7 p.m. featuring a talk by Rev. Clifford Nakadegawa, assistant as-sistant pastor, Japanese Church of Christ. |
