Structural Fires Show Increase MURRAY, Oct. 18 An Increase of nine structural firea in September Septem-ber more than offset the reduction reduc-tion in grasa and brush firea as the Salt Lake county fire department depart-ment answered 55 calls, an increase in-crease of two over September, 1948, the monthly report released Wednesday by Capt. Wilford Webb showed. During the month firemen battled bat-tled 35 structural blazea, aa compared com-pared to 26 for a year ago, and only 20 grasa and brush fires, as compared to 27 during September last year. The department's ambulance answered 78 calls, including 38 transfer cases, during September, the report also showed.
