OCR Text	Show Haste in Rum Raid Brings Dismissal Because the officers who raided the home of Ted Canning at 1017 Fourth East street on February 3 acted too hastily the liquor manufacturing manufac-turing charges againat him were ordered or-dered dismissed by United States Commissioner Gould B. Blakely Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Due to the fact that the evidence showed that the still which the officers of-ficers seised in their raid had never been used, but had been recently purchased pur-chased and aet up. Assistant United States District Attorney George H. Lunt requested that the federal charge be dropped. A small amount of liquor was found during the raid ao Mr. Lunt recommended that the possession charge be handled In state court.
