Show REFUSE TO APOLOGIZE AKD ARE SUSPENDED The faculty of the University of Utah has taken official action with regard to the ten sophomores whose exuberant class spirit led them to bombard the actors in the performance of "The Am-axons," Am-axons," given by the. University Dramatic Dra-matic club at the Salt LAe Theater, with a choice assortment of vegetables. vegeta-bles. The faculty gave the boisterous sophomores sopho-mores a hearing yesterday and, after a careful canvass of the circumstances, demanded apologies from the young men, to be signed by each, and printed in the University Chronicle. This apology the students refused to make and, as a consequence, they were disciplined by being suspended for the remainder of the semester, which ends February 1st. The -young men suspended are Bur- gess Young, Art Erlckson, Emmett Moore, Leslie Groesbeck. A. H. Chambers, Cham-bers, E. M. Myers. Arthur Dofflemeyer. Tom Billings. Melton Crandall and Thomas Lattimer.-. The belligerents declare they will never apologize for their action. Much feeling has been aroused in the University Univer-sity over the affair. - ... |
