Show : BYLOWER ZCXj CFTIIELjGIC. qpE The House this afternoon took up the cudgels In behalf of the members from Sanpete against The Telegram and adopted a resolution offered by Mr. Done of Salt Lake censuring this paper. ' Mr. Done moved the passage of his resolution, but Dr. Condon of Ogden moved that the Question be delayed two days. He said that the members from Sanpete were too thin-skinned and when they had been in public life as long aa he had, they would not mind newspaper criticism. If it were just criticism would do them good, and if it were unjust time would develop It. ' . Mr. Stoker demanded that the editorial edi-torial complained of be read .and It was read by order of the Speaker. Mr. Evans of Summit opposed the' resolution, declaring It was a private affair. Mr. Watson declared that it was a reflection on the whole House. He did not object . to criticism when it was written in good conscience, but he declared, de-clared, "the man who wrote that editorial edito-rial never had a conscience."
