Show DRUNKEN MAN GIVES POLICE HARD FIGHT Frank Anneberg, a fighting drunk, gave the men In a West Temple street saloon and three policemen all they wanted in the fighting line Saturday night. Anneberg, w ho had been' drinking heavily, started to "clean out" the saloon, sa-loon, and was succeeding beautifully when Patrolmen Corlesa' and Emil Johnson arrived on' the scene. They dragged Ahneberg from an opponent who was getting his ear masticated to a pulp, and loaded the belligerent Into the open patrol wagon, where Anneberg, disregarding the fact that the public could gaze on him, started to "do up" the policemen. He struck Corless a fierce blow in the face and was promptly prompt-ly knocked down Into the bottom of the wagon. At the police station he was again In a fighting mood, and It took three policemen to put him in his bunk in the Jag cure department. |
