Show KING'S DAUGHTERS; - ISSUE A CALENDAR The King's Daughters of the First . Presbyterian church have issued under the caption of "The City of the Saints' Calendar, 1905," one of the daintiest re-minders re-minders of the approach of the new year. The calendar is in illustrated boards, the first beartnj the title and a portrait, of Miss Helen Gillespie, a King's Daughter, and the other three being devoted de-voted to scenes in the vicinity of "The City of the Saints" and to calendar purposes pur-poses proper. The calendars are being offered for sale, the proceeds to go partly for local . charitable works and partly to the building fund of the new First Presbyterian Presby-terian church. They were displayed -Saturday for the first time and attracted attract-ed immediate attention. |
