Show CONVICTS TO TESTIFY The trial of the State against Henry Waddell, charged with escaping from the State prison, robbery and assault with Intent to kill, was taken up before Judge Morse this morning. The follow ing jurors were secured to try the case: Gilbert Lloyd. A. E. Raleigh. Walter L. Price. James T. Clasbey, William C. Lee. J. H. Hayward. Wallace C. Bow-ring Bow-ring and Frank C. Howe. The information and plea were read to the Jury and Thomas C. Wright, Frank H. Nsylor and David Wllckln were examined, after which the State rested. These witnesses testified as to the part taken by the defendant in the recent outbreak at the pen. Judge Morse made an order citing Abe Majors. Frank Connors, Ed Mulltn, Nick Haworth and James Lynch, convicts con-victs who participated in the outbreak, to appear in court at 2 o'clock this afternoon, af-ternoon, when the testimony of the defense de-fense Mill be taken. The Sheriff's force Is to assist Acting Warden Wright In bringing these convicts down to court Three of them are life prisoners. |
