Show COLD WEATHER KILLS MANY SHORN SHEEP Shearing at the sheep camps In the southern part of the State is nearly over. The Blackrock camps have finished fin-ished and those In the vicinity of Mil-ford Mil-ford expect to get through by the end of the week. Late reports from the southern districts dis-tricts say the cold weather of the past few days has been unusually hard on the shorn flocks and has caused many of the least hardy sheep to perish. Advices from Wyoming say there has been no change in the wool situation there. The sheepmen are still holding out for 15 cents and some of them are now asking 16 cents. The reports from Utah and Idaho to the affect that the wool crop Is about 20 per cent lighter this year than last have caused the Wyoming men to hold their wool higher In the hopes of an advance. The wool-buyers will not meet their demands so things are at a standstill. |
