The high area overlying northern Montana Mon-tana and the British Northwestern Territories Ter-ritories yesterday morning has remained practically stationary, but Its energy has greatly increased. As a consequence, temperatures tem-peratures considerably below normal prevail pre-vail throughout the northern and middle plateau region and the Missouri valley. The storm area remained central over New Mexico, but appears to have diminished dimin-ished both in size and energy. It has caused general precipitation over the eastern 6lope of the Rocky mountains, with rain or snow still falling over a considerable con-siderable area of country this morning.
