President John Dern of the Consolidated Mercur company left, for Mercur Friday morning to make, a personal examination cf the new strike In the drift which is running toward the Ingbt ground. Mr. JJern stated that he had no doubt whatever what-ever that the strike was as valuable as represented, but he desired to see for himself him-self just how the vein was running. It is " very likely that the future action on the Ingot and the work at that property will depend largelv on Mr. Dern's examination. Bts he is a large holder In both the Ingot nd the Consolidated Mercur. If the vein carrying such values as are reported runs Into Ingot ground it Is possible pos-sible that it will be explored and mined In that territory through Consolidated Mercur" workings, and may also receive treatment at the Consolidated Mercur 1 xnill. The Ingot may even be sold to the ! Consolidated Mercur company, although this is not likely to occur until the vein has been fully proved up and Its value I demonstrated to the Consolidated Mercur t management. METAL MARKET.
