The meeting was held In the West Jordan Jor-dan tneetlng-houBe. It was attended by about eighty of the stockholder and officers, of-ficers, and by CoL Edwin F. Holmes, Prof. A. F. Loremus, W. B. Ennls, Thomas Thom-as P. Page, AnguM M. Cannon, and Attorney At-torney F. S. Richards of the improvement improve-ment committee. After several hours occupied oc-cupied In discussing the situation pro and con. a motion to reconsldet the company's Frevioua action, demanding eighty second-' eet of water for Its primary rights, was defeated by a vote of SO to SO. A prominent member of the committee said that the only argument that the majority ma-jority could present was that - they believed be-lieved that they should have the water. The general improvement committee will hold a meeting in a few days to determine de-termine whether It will be possible to proceed pro-ceed with the "Government project without with-out the co-operation of the South Jordan company, or whether the project shall be given up altogether.
