Jacob Bergerman, manager of the Utah Liquor company, has secured from the Lagoon company, owners of the resort of the same name, a lease j on that resort for the season of 1907. i The lease covers everything at the Lagoon, save that the Lagoon company will exercise the right to supervise the actions of all employees, and will also supervise the supplies and the management manage-ment of the various privileges, that the public may have no cause for complaint. com-plaint. In consideration of valuable concessions, conces-sions, the Salt Lake & Ogden road has reduced the fare to 25 cents for all persons per-sons over 5 years of age. New trees have been put in on the roadbed, and new and heavier rails have been laid. The cars have been reconstructed re-constructed so that a larger number of passengers max be carried on them. The traffic and excursion departments will be looked after by J. B. Bean, who has had that business In hand for six years. A number of midsummer dates have already been booked. The negotiations looking toward the establishment of a great bathing resort at the Lagoon have been dropped for this season. - |
