Show ,1. ARCTIC EXPLORER GIVEN UP AS LOST ST. PETERSBURG. March 7. Answering Answer-ing an inquiry concerning the fate of ' Baron Toll, the explorer who was recently recent-ly reported to have perished in the Arctic Arc-tic ocean, M. Doubrovlt, secretary of the Academy of Sciences, says .that he has received not a word of news for some him. Anothcf expedition Is now searching search-ing for' him. The belief now is that the Baron has been lost. The Bourse Gaiette offers a reward for InformaUon establishing the explorer's death. Nothing has been heard from Baron Toll since he left the yacht Zaria May 23, 1902, in company with Yakuts and started for Bennett island. Tho Zarla left her winter win-ter Quarters early in June.
