A final adjustment adjust-ment of the peace pact between the restaurant and hotel keepers and their striking employees is looked for today. The change of front by the warring unions and their virtual surrender of yesterday leaves little doubt that the only-remaining difficulty the question of reinstatement of the men and the discharge or retention of the Imported non-union help will be overcome. Conferences Con-ferences for the purpose have been arranged ar-ranged for today. President Gompers will remain In the city until absolute peace reigns. ' "
