"Play it, maestro,' be pleaded; "play it. I wrote it in expression of my grief and mourning ror my dead father." Bossini took it up and placed it on his piano and played it. Tears rolled down his cheeks. "You weep," cried young Meyerbeer, beside himself with joy at the effect npon the great master. mas-ter.
