Show ENGLISH LUTHERAN - CONFERENCE ENDS i .N The fifth annual conference of tbe Swedish Lutheran church of the inter-mountain inter-mountain country came to an end last evening. The first service of the day was held at I'J a. m., at which Dr. i J. Brodine of Kock Island; III., preached the sermon. - -.-'. The second, service - of the day wi held at 4:13 in the afternoon. " Thia ser-, vice was especially for children, and was largely attended. At 6:3t) p. m. a business session was held, at which the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: .v President Rev. C. E. Bengtson, Idaho Ida-ho Falls. Ida. First Vies-Prosident Rev. H. Fran-zen, Fran-zen, Boise, Ida. Second Vice-President Miss Ellea Gustafson. Salt Lake. Third Vice President Prof. A. C. Carlson, Blackfoot, Ida, Secretary Miss Clara Bloraquiat, Weiser, Ida. - Treasurer George Anderson, Salt Lake. The jubilfe'serviees'cQmmenced at 8 p. m. A special feature of the jubilee services was the special music by the ehoir. Sermons were also preached by Rev. A. H. Franzen of Boise and. Rev. O. A. Elmquist. ' |
