Show POLICIES UNDER SUPREME LODGE State Organization of A. 0. U. W. Surrenders and 1 Members Go Under - a - Higher Jurisdiction. The Utah grand lodge of the American Ameri-can Order of United Workmen baa been dissolved. . Grand Recorder . S.. . V.. Darke is now sending out transfer blanks which will allow the members of the State organization to join the supreme lodge with headquarters in Pennsylvania. Many of the members are doing this. There are' about eighteen hundred members in the order in the State who will thus become members under the jurisdiction of (Jie supreme lodge by filling out these lanks. The State paper published has been discontinued. N Current reports have it that the organization or-ganization had gone bankrupt. This is flatly contradicted by S. W. Darke, formerly grand recorder of the Utah grand lodge. He admits that the Stato organization has been disbanded and will be absorbed by the supreme lodge. This has been brought about by the lack of numbers, in the State lodo-e. Two policies have been allowed in years past, a level and a graduated rate being given. The graduated rate increased every five years. The level was written writ-ten on the basis of an annual rate. Only the level or annualrate will here-after here-after be allowed. ' |
