Howovcr, during tho coming summer tho old opera house will be torn down, at least tho back part, and be extended so as to provide a greater seating capacity and also an up-to date stage. The plans provide for cutting out the north half of the upper floor used as a dancing hall and theatre and leaving the south half as a balcony.
